Refund and Returns Policy

Return Window

You have 30 days from receipt to return eligible items for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs).

Eligible Returns

Items must be:

  • In original condition (unfinished, unassembled, unmodified)
  • Free from saw marks, drill holes, or any alterations
  • In original packaging with all hardware and instructions
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase
  • Free from odors (smoke, pet, chemical)

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalized woodwork items
  • Items that have been cut, drilled, stained, painted, or finished
  • Live-edge pieces (due to unique nature)
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance”
  • Wood exposed to moisture or weather
  • Items damaged by misuse or improper storage
  • Special order exotic wood items

How to Return Items

  1. Contact us at hello@snowyantlers.ca within 30 days to request a return
  2. We’ll provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN)
  3. Package items securely in original packaging
  4. Include the RAN with your return
  5. Ship to our return address

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer’s responsibility: Returns for change of mind or preference
  • We pay: Returns due to our error, defects, or shipping damage (we’ll provide a prepaid label)

Refund Processing

  • Items inspected within 2 business days of receipt
  • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days after approval
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Bank processing times may add 3-5 business days
  • Refund times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Different sizes or wood species (subject to availability)
  • Items with manufacturing defects
  • Incorrect items sent

Defective Items or Craftsmanship Issues

Local Customers (Manitoba Central Plains area):

  • Contact us immediately for inspection
  • We’ll arrange free pickup/exchange
  • Minor issues may be repaired on-site

Shipped Orders:

  • Contact us immediately with detailed photos
  • We’ll provide a prepaid return label
  • Full refund or replacement at our discretion

Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds. Items are either eligible for a full refund (minus original shipping) or not returnable.

Order Cancellations

Contact us immediately to request cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before shipping for a full refund

Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production begins
